I did something similar to Grim’s colonoscopy – which is to look at the performance of my different portfolios. The results were surprising. My self managed portfolio which had big ups and downs this year was up only 1.5%. My broker managed portfolio which tracks S&P with tax loss harvesting made a whooping 20% YTD. Can’t thank Biden enough!
I had no choice but to liquidate the self managed and give it to the broker.
